Terms and Conditions

By using our Site and/or paying for your order, you are agreeing to The Truth About Addiction’s Terms and Conditions. The Truth About Addiction (TTAA) offers counselling and public speaking services. We, TTAA, also distribute various products for sale as shown on our Site.

Order Cancellations:

Due to the large number of orders coming through, once an order has been paid for, it cannot be cancelled.

Should you wish to correct your delivery address before the order is dispatched, please contact us and we will try our best to assist you.
Prior to the dispatch of an order, we may cancel all or part of an order, by email notification, without any liability to you for that cancellation, if:

  1. The purchased goods in that order are not available
  2. Your order weight exceeds our maximum postal delivery weight. We will get in touch to organise alternative options where possible
  3. There is an error in the price or the product description posted on the website
  4. We are unable to obtain authorisation for payment


All prices shown on this site are in Australian Dollars (AUD).

Due to currency and materials fluctuations, prices are subject to change without notice.
If there are pricing inaccuracies, we reserve the right to cancel the order and refund the payment.
We will charge you, and you agree to pay, the following fees and charges in relation to an order that we accept, where applicable:

  1. The purchase price of the goods ordered,
  2. The delivery fee to deliver the goods to you,
  3. Any other fees and charges set out in these terms

Sales Tax (GST):

In accordance with Australian Goods & Services Tax laws, goods shipped in Australia will be charged GST.
Stock Availability:

Inventory stock is on a first come first serve basis. Inventory cannot be placed on hold without payment.


The customer is responsible for all shipping charges related to their order. Shipping instructions and delivery address must be included in the order. All TTAA products are sent via Australia Post. Changes to shipping instructions must be in writing, and approved by TTAA before dispatched. We will not be responsible for delays or additional charges for any unapproved changes.


Unless you notify us on the contrary by email within fourteen (14) days of delivery of any Goods and an email is confirmed by TTAA within that fourteen days period, the Goods shall be deemed to have been accepted by you.

Items that have been purchased at full price are eligible for a refund. We are unable to refund the cost of shipping.

  • We do not offer exchanges.
  • We do not offer refunds or exchanges on any Sale items purchased online unless deemed faulty.

Intellectual Property:

You acknowledge that the copyright and other intellectual property rights in the Goods, the Site, the software, design, text and graphics comprised in the Site, the selection and layout of the Site and the content and materials on the Site are owned by or licensed to us.

You may only store/print copies of the content and materials on this site, for the sole purpose of personal viewing or purchasing of the goods, not for commercial use or any other use.

Warranty and Liability:

Product Warranty: We strive to provide accurate product descriptions and images to help you make informed purchasing decisions. However, all products are provided on an “as-is” basis without any express or implied warranties, except as required by applicable law.

Disclaimer: We do not warrant that the Site will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free from viruses or other harmful components. We cannot guarantee that the information provided on the Site is accurate, complete, or up-to-date.

Limitation of Liability: Under no circumstances shall we or our affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, or suppliers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to the use or inability to use the Site or products purchased from the Site.

Total Liability: In no event shall our total liability, whether based on contract, warranty, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory, exceed the total amount paid by you for the product or service in question.

Third-Party Links: The Site may contain links to third-party websites, products, or services. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or accuracy of such third-party links. Any reliance on third-party content is at your own risk, and we shall not be liable for any damages or losses arising from such reliance.

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless, as well as our affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and suppliers, from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from or related to your use of the Site or any violation of these terms and conditions.

We reserve the right to modify or update these Warranty and Liability terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. The updated terms will be posted on the Site, and your continued use of the Site after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

By using our Site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Warranty and Liability terms and conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, please refrain from using our Site. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us.


Online orders are not processed over the weekends or public holidays.

Once processed and dispatched, allow 2-7 business days for transit for orders within Australia, and 10-15 business days for transit for overseas delivery addresses. If your purchase is time sensitive, please contact us to enquire about express postage.

All domestic orders are delivered through Australia Post. Should your parcel become lost in transit or you believe it is mis-delivered please contact us immediately.


This policy applies to all purchases made online at thetruthaboutaddiction.com.au
Please send an email to hello@thetruthaboutaddiction.com.au to submit your return request, and return instructions will be emailed back to you.

  • Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns for book orders.
  • We do not offer ‘Exchange’. Please return your order for a refund and place a new order for different sizes/products.
  • We do not refund shipping costs.
  • Online orders are not processed over the weekends or public holidays.

Conditions of Return:

  • The item/s were purchased from The Truth About Addiction Online
  • The item/s are in their original conditions: Unworn, not altered and/or washed
  • All tags are still attached
  • Your order must be returned to us within fourteen (14) days from your delivery date

Any items that do not meet these criteria will not be valid for any return. Any items returned to The Truth About Addiction without approval will not be processed and will be returned at the customers’ expense.

Full Priced Items:

Items that have been purchased at full price or by pre-order are eligible for a refund to the original payment method.


We do not offer exchanges, store credits or refunds on SALE products unless the product is not of acceptable quality or is different from its description as required by Australian Consumer Law. This applies to all sale items including those using a promotional code or discount at checkout.

Faulty Returns:

We do apologise for the disappointment if the product is faulty/damaged upon arrival. Please send us an email including your order number, a small description and images of the fault to expedite the return process.
